spirit of a marathon
Well here we go again. I just signed up for the Twin Cities Marathon!!! I am so excited! Registration started on Friday at 12:01 a.m. I tried to stay up but fell asleep. However, I did wake up at 4:00 in the morning to register. I know it sound crazy but I was so excited, I had butterflies in my stomach all night. Another reason I am so excited is because my brother Jim is flying in from Texas to run it with me!! I just thew it out there to him just for fun, I wasn't sure what he would do but Saturday morning he called and said he registered!! I couldn't believe it! That morning we talked about all the running he has been doing and the more I talked to him the more it sounds like he could run a marathon next week (he ran 11 miles for fun Saturday morning). Anyway, I am just excited. I love to train, I love the early morning runs, the fresh air and the peace of mind. This year I am going to try and qualify for the Boston Marathon, which means I will have to finish in 3:40 min. My best time is 4:12 min so I have a lot of work to do!

Thats so awesome BEcky! SO I guess that makes him your favorite sibling now huh? I threw it out there for Rog to be ready by then and he didnt say yes, but he didnt say no either.... I was talking to our friend DJ yesterday about his marathon he just ran and he said that the half marathon in Provo canyon is an awesome one....hmmmmm. Its in August, maybe you could run it with me!
Love it, love it, love it! I didn't know you wanted to try to qualify for Boston. That sounds amazing! I wish I could do it with you! Silly babies! They are always getting in the way! Be careful you don't end up with a baby of your own say about August? Hummmm? J/K I am looking forward to this race A LOT! It should be good. Larry is starting this week. He wants to run with you as long as he can! I told him you are a great companion! Your video was awesome! I really forgot how exciting it was. It really is amazing!
