While we were there we celebrated Max 2nd birthday. We has a blast! Max is into Blue's Clues (I know it is off the air but we found an old video of Parkers and it had been Blue's Clues ever since). Anyway, while looking on the computer back home, in Minnesota, I found this Blue's Clues birthday cake online. I clicked on it and it took me to this blog Layers of Love. To my surprise she lived in Utah and baked cakes out of her home. I got in touch with her and she made Max's birthday cake. I had to go to Layton to pick it up, but it was totally worth it. When she took the cake out of the car I couldn't believe it! It was beyond pefect... just like Cake Boss! She started talking to me and I literally have no idea what she said to me, I was just so in love with my.... Max's birthday cake :P. I don't have words to describe how much I loved this cake. All I can say is I {heart} this cake. Anyway, the birthday was fun and amazing. Thanks to Manuel my sisters husband for taking all the best birthday pictures ever!

One of the things I miss most about living close to family are all the cousins. Max and Parker have the best cousins ever. They came over almost everyday. They just played and laughed with each other all day. One of my favorite things about my nephews are how protective they are with Max, especially C.J. He followed Max around like it was his job to protect him. When we went over to their house C.J. introduced all his friends to Max and said. "This is my friend Max, he is just a baby." I loved it! When they were going home one night C.J. said to me,"wonder if we growed Max?" I said, "you want to raise him?" he said yes! I thought that was so cute!
On the last day of our trip me and my sister-in- law Kelli ran the Provo half marathon. It was a perfect day! I was so glad Kelli decided to do it. She worked really hard, I think she only decided to run it three weeks before the race, I know....she was amazing!! I'm so glad we were able to run this together.
Well, like I said before, our trip was amazing. We look forward to it every year! Thanks to everyone for making it so fun. I love and miss everyone so much! See you all next year! (Maybe sooner.... who knows). :P
P.S. I forgot about this picture. My little Rock Star!
